Meh, I've been called a commie so much it doesn't bother me 
More accurately though, not a fan of Buffalo getting another top pick after their tanking tank job, plus I'd actually like to see both Puljujärvi and Laine in the west so I'd see them play more often. So almost perfect, but could still be a little better.

While of course we all naturally want the 1st overall for selfish reasons, there's a terrific marketing component to having McDavid vs Matthews as the two first overalls going head to head for a decade in the battle of Alberta. In viewing the ratings decline for the playoffs for lack of Canadian teams, this would be such an easy mimmick to Crosby/Ovechkin and boost so much life into the feud.
