Yup, I want me a Pavelski. Honestly If Flames draft Nylander, we could have a first line of 30 goal scorers. Gaudreau - Mony - Nylander could all score 30+ a year.

My ranking/wish list based off what I have read would be
Matthews
Laine
Puljujarvi
Dubois
Nylander
Tkachuk
Chychurn
McLeod

If the Flames do that, they will be known as a one line team.

I think Tkachuk has the best bust potential, whenever I think about him on the Flames, it worries me, there is nothing special about his game, having said that, I have a weird feeling the Flames end up with Tkachuk(I hope not), Dubois or Nylander are my second choices(the First choices are Matthews or one the Fins but that is a long shot, so I hope for Dubois or Nylander, no Tkachuk please).

Just from reading, for me Chychryn is the only pick that might worry me a bit if the Flames picked him, but I don't know the player first hand.

Tkachuk has a very low bust potential. None of the prospects ranked in the top 8 should have a high bust potential. If they had a high bust potential then they'd be ranked lower. The prospects at the top end of this draft are all seen as fairly safe but high upside players.

Tkachuk with another hat trick in the playoffs. 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points in 11 games.

In my eyes, Tkachuk and Dubois are solidifying themselves into their own tier (picks 4 and 5).

Both make sense for the Flames, I just hope the Flames don't fall to 6th or later.

Looks like TSN will carry FIN-RUS coming up at 11 am.

Players of interest for the Flames pick include #9 for FIN, Jesse Puljujarvi (if we win the 3rd lottery), and #2 for RUS, Mikhail Sergachev.

Then we get Chychrun or Nylander and walk away with either a supremely stacked defense for the next half decade, or get a top line forward to add to the fold. Either way it's all good.

Yeah, I'd say Tkachuk has the lowest ceiling of the top 8 guys, but he's almost certainly going to be a good NHLer.

Chychryn reminds me of Cam Barker, never able to get all his stuff in order.

Tkachuk for some reason worries/scares me.

This is very true, outside the big 3, Nylander and Dubois, have the biggest ceiling, that why I hope we grab get of them.

That's going too far, but there's an odd vibe about him, like he's not as good as people thought he would be, and that makes me feel like he might actually be rated lower by many teams than he is in rankings where he's often seen as the sexiest defenseman available. Conroy too was saying that he needs to figure out how to put his tools in order. Depends on how teams feel about that.
