Just switched over and went back, guessing the Kulemin on Smith play?
Hard to tell live, as I thought maybe he got tripped or something. But on the replay MSG just showed Kulemin gave him a good hard push. Though it might have been early, however the puck was right there as well. You don't see that type of contact called as interference often.

Same situation as the Okposo call. On the PP, clear chance at a goal, stick up under his arm and also near his head, takes him down. No. Call. It's ridiculously inconsistent.

Well the Okposo one was a trip, this wasn't a trip it was a check to the side. What did you want called? Maybe interference, but again you don't see those called often.
Perfect delay by Petrovic on that shot, beauty.

Hooking. Holding. Whatever. I don't want to go over it all night, but it's just not getting called the same both ways.

I assume the non call was on te dive. Goring was going on about the Panthers diving on that play. The officiating certainly hasn't been too biased one way or the other in this series.

This call on the Isles is pretty chintzy

This game is so boring. Kings and Sharks can't start soon enough.

That's a penalty on Huberdeau...but also a ridiculous dive by Hickey. How does a quick hook to the hands cause you to fall to the ice in a heap? My god...have some class there Islanders.

^ Yep, definite dive by Hickey. Frustrating but a ref would never have the balls to call that given the score.

Yep, the series in general is one I was quite excited about but has probably been the worst by far in terms of entertainment value.

The Islanders are my playoff team this year, and even I've found this series damn near unwatchable.
Yay! The Kings game is starting

Either way, there's been really bad consistency with the calls in all the games so far.

It looked to me like he just fell down. I didn't see any contact. It matter's little because the Islanders have one line and Florida seems to have solved it. They likely will win in 6.

WOOOOOHHHH!!! Big win! Panthers come home for the pivotal game 5.
Ok, so some of you aren't entertained for whatever reason, but every game has been a tight checking affair with big momentum swings both ways all throughout the game, and every game has been a 1 goal game with a lot of drama at the end.
What else do you really want?

My main impression of the game: Pierre is still the worst.

Hudler not getting much icetime. 12 minutes in this.
Is he going to get the Glencross treatment in the offseason?

I doubt it. He's still relevant, just not top line material. He's been good relative to his ice time for the Panthers, but he was always going to be a 3rd liner on this team. The other wingers are too good. Plus, the 3rd line didn't have their own center tonight since McKegg wen't down at the last minute. They were double shifting Barkov on that line, and even had Jussi Jokinen play some center tonight on that line. It's not a reflection on their play, just how things rolled with the last minute injury.
Trocheck will likely be back next game, and then they'll be rolling 3 scoring lines a lot, with some sporadic 4th line time.

I hope one team wins the next two games, just so this series is over.
