Looks like no goal to me. Maybe I'm biased. I think these are moronic and I hope these all get overturned and the nhl ditches this stupidity.

Yup. No goal.

I don't mind it, they're getting the call right and that's what counts.

Interesting first period and Matt Murray is playing well for a rookie goalie.

The Penguins now have a 2-1 lead. Crosby scored on the power play with 42 seconds left in the second period to tie the game. Cullen scored the go ahead goal four minutes into the third period.

It would be pretty cool if someone updates the thread titles reflecting the series because I like to visit CP to see where the series are at... seems like "Hockey" just wanted to create a bunch of threads but not necessarily maintain them.

Do we see a suspension for Letang come down in the next 24 hours? This was vicious and sure doesnt look like an accident.

I'm sure you mean vicious. And yeah, that should be multiple games even in the playoffs.

I don't understand how that's not at least a 1 game suspension.

There is no consistency.

Wtf... How is there no further investigation and discipline? The NHL needs to shake up their brass as they all have their head up their @$$..

Makes no sense considering Keith just got 5+a playoff game for a similar slash.

Just watched the play again on That's Hockey..

Letang clearly has his stick up, see's the player then chooses to drive the stick into his face/side of the head.
Letang was not being put off balance nor trying to get his hands up to protect himself, he smacked the incoming player in the side of the face for absolutely no reason and had a split second to even consider bring his stick down and bracing for a possible check, that wasn't immenant. He had enough time to not hit the Ranger in the face..

How the hell does the league not give him a game for that.

And for the record, I'm pulling for Pittsburgh in this series.

Just pisses me off as this kind of stuff is not taken seriously by the league, and what if that was a Flames player... Just disgusting..

The NHL needs to disband it's disciplinary board and reform it with people who actually know how to do their damn job.

So tired of the Bettman/Campbell era.. Can't end soon enough.

The replay is super slowed down. In real time that happens in a split second and I don't believe it was in any way intentional. No suspension is the right call in this case.
