They should give out snow balls and bring out Santa Clause. That one always goes over well in Philly.

Yes, it's real. Beer bongs and brass knuckles apparently for game 6, if it gets that far.

No thanks. Simmonds is a dirt bag who takes bad penalties at the worst time possible.

Seriously? If Simmonds was available there would be 29 teams lining up. He is an extremely valuable player. Not many guys can get thirty goals playing the way he does

Agreed, and signed through the 2019 season with a very reasonable cap hit of 3,975,000. If he ever made it to the open market, BT should be picking up the phone.

Thought Bellemare should be suspended for the remainder of the Flyers' season. Glad to see the NHL thought likewise.

Haha, a poster on Reddit turned Game 3 into a pretty believable Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia script for the opening scene:

Just disgusting by Philly fans although this should be expected by now.

They need to go European football style and play game 4 in an empty arena.

Wayne Simmonds is a beast. He has always been consistent with his edgey play. But he's also been consistent in producing points.

One man's dirt-bag type player is another man's heart and soul-type player.

Simmonds is a perfect fit for the Flames. Would be a great leader for the kids who play with an edge also ( Hathaway, Ferland, Grant, etc)
And would also be an ideal linemate for JG and SM as he wouldn't put up with other players taking liberties. Wayne Simmonds doesn't take other teams $#!+, that maybe why some people think he takes bad penalties.

Exactly this. Simmonds plays with edge, grit, sandpaper, but plays with integrity and has 1st line skill, and is only 27. I would absolutely LOVE to have him on our team (and so would all 29 other clubs). He is making $4million bucks per, and if Brad goes for gold in the next couple years, he'll have to spring for a guy like Simmonds to play RW. In my opinion, he's an upgrade over a $4million Hudler.

Plus it would be awesome to taunt Oiler fans that our Wayne is better than theirs and watch think get into a tizzy.

Great job NHL.

Agreed. Wayne Simmonds is pretty much what you want Bennett to eventually turn out to be, albeit with more skill. One of those guys who's got grit, but can still produce for you.

I understand Santa was inebriated as well. Not that it makes much difference.
