Can't it matter that it was basically taken off the moorings intentionally by him?

By default....they were less terrible than the terrible Avs and everyone else out of the playoffs were most terrible.

People are all about the net being off on that goal, but did anyone bother to look at whether Roussel used a kicking motion? Because I think he did... Should be no goal.

Still led to a great colour call by Reaugh... "When your options are limited, especially in the playoffs, sometimes you've gotta just pee in the sink. Just get it done."

Don't think you could argue he intentionally kicked it towards the goal in an effort to score.

They had Zach Parise. Now they don't.

Also the Stars aren't the top seed in the whole Western Conference by fluke. They led the league in scoring and with a stacked forwards group that just gets through the neutral zone beautifully and then gets the puck deep, and their blueline with Klingberg/Goligoski/Demers is really underrated. Russell's weaknesses are being impressively masked and his strengths amplified, too.

This is more the Stars being really, really good than the Wild being really, really bad. The Wild are about as bad as the Flames, except with goaltending.

For me thats a good goal. Ok he kicked it, but he didn't kick it into the net, the puck would not have gone in had Dubynk not tried to stop the puck going in off his back. So I don't think there is a kicking motion debate per say.

Also, I think that the puck goes across the goal line before the posts come out the moorings. But Dubynk pushing the cross bar back obscures it.

I honestly think thats a fair goal, glad to see it counted.

Where's the issue? He doesn't kick it "in", Dubynk is the one who pushes it in. And the net was still on the moorings as the puck goes over the line. I can see why its controversial, but I don't see how anyone can question the goals validity.

Scandella scores on the PP. Don't think it's gonna make any difference either in this game or in the series though.

It's a miracle, Minnesota hockeyed a puck into the goal zone?
