That new Tim Hortons ad with the dad who has been collecting Bankers Boxes full of garbage for 40 years.
They tried so hard to make it pull at your heart strings, but who can relate to recording significant events on an old Tim's cup? Who does that? Who keeps a white pencil crayon handy? Who writes on a coffee cup besides Starbucks baristas?
Usually Tim's commercials I hate after they flood the programming with them, but this one I hated after the first viewing.

Can they please end the current Chevrolet crop soon? That guy is so awkward. He's the worst of everything he's trying to be.
His tough guy truck face/beard combined with his nerdy, weak, IT style voice and monotone delivery of his lines comes off horribly. He's just so creepy and annoying. And yeah, the "real people, not actors" **** has got to go.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

well, at least the trend in fast food commercials to only pretend to take a bite of the product du jour seems to be fading. For some reason, that made me irrationally angry. Just bite the burger, lady! Then again, if paid actors won't even put the stuff in their mouths, maybe that should tell me something?

The Ford commercials are getting quite annoying and insulting to ones intelligence. You have this couple standing there with a womans voice saying we have a cheaper Escape but this is the model with the features most people buy. Why offer a cheaper Escape if you want the buying public to only buy the more expensive model???

This is a radio add, but the Country Hills Toyota ads really bother me for one simple reason.
Taiyata.
Taiyata.
If you sell the cars, at least pronounce the name correctly. Its like when my dad calls Tigers Taygers for some reason.
Is this the one that used to run the ad about not being open on Sundays to appeal to the religious crowd, and somewhat to families, like they were the only dealership closed on a Sunday?
What the hell are you talking about? I imagine that commercial has led to thousands of Canadians living out their dreams. How could anyone not like that? According to the commercial all you have to do is visit your local Scotiabank financial advisor who in a matter of a few keystrokes can free up thousands of dollars that you never even knew you had. On that note I'm in the process of packing a few things up to take my dad on a truck ride into the mountains this weekend which is a reality now and no longer a dream thanks to Scotiabank.

yeah.....pretty certain Dad's hoarding of garbage would be mentioned in the affidavit to have him declared as having lost capacity and the kids can put him in a home.
HAHA if you watch the commerical again he has this confused look on his face.

I find the match.com guy is a lot more annoying. The way he talks really pisses me off for some reason.
I like the fact that they're watching a completely fictional game and they could have written it to have any result, yet they didn't even make the last-second Oilers' goal the game winner, just the tying goal.
Even in their fictional fantasy world, E=NG.

I too hate that commercial.
