Uh, he gave up 3 goals on a bajillion scoring chances. The fourth was an empty netter.

He's the only reason this isn't a 10-0 blowout is because he's been awesome.
To say it was a Flames mistake not to sign him is a pretty big stretch considering he re-signed with his team...let it go, Calgary had no legit shot at him

Ok, fine. Say we could have spoken to him, what could we have offered him that the Wild couldn't have matched? Starting goalie position? Money? He'd gone there, been the go to guy, performed lights out, gone to the play offs. He probably enjoyed it there, was probably quite settled there. Why would he bail on them for us?

Besides, I bet his agent tested the market to see how much interest was out there, but I'm betting he was quite happy to stay put. We never had a chance at signing him, think you're out to lunch to suggest otherwise.

Minnesota doesn't stand a chance in this series. Maybe, just maaaaaybe if Parise plays, they'll take a game off of them but that's about it

Yup, and lets hope Blues vs. Hawks beat the hell out of each other in a long 7 game series full of multiple overtime games!

And they will be adding Tyler Seguin to the lineup shortly

Russell only played ~17.5 minutes; his lowest TOI since joining the Stars. He may not be healthy; just needs to stay healthy enough to play at least 6 more games

I'm shocked. It took two whole periods for the Wild to reach the Roberto Durán ‘ˇNo más!’ stage of collapse. Credit to Dubnyk, I suppose.

May have been his lowest but it was #4 for the D in terms of TOI. So second paring?

Nope, he was playing third pairing + PP, and they spent a lot of time on the PP.

In fairness though, when they made that trade they didn't know they had a 2nd pairing guy in Stephen Johns, who was awesome.

I had pretty low expectations coming into this series. But the Wild was even less-competitive than I thought they'd be. But I'm sure we'll turn our mid-round pick into another......Colton Gillies or AJ Thelen.

Man, another arena with plenty of empty seats in the lower bowl tonight.

Have all their fans gone to Oklahoma for the Mavericks game or something?

Granlund will have nightmares, he missed a wide open net.

Seguin is correct to complain about the icing call late in the period, he was ahead of the Wild players. It is scoreless after twenty minutes and the shots are 14-7 for the Stars.

The puck isn't in the net when the posts are on their moorings. It goes into the net after the posts are knocked off their moorings. How is that a goal in any way?

That may actually be the weirdest goal I've seen.

Maybe the one where Bergevin threw the puck into his own net past Turek.
