I'll continue to pronounce in Lane unless the Flames pick him.
Just like no one outside of Calgary knows Kylington is Shillington.

		| My rankings are based off numerous conversations with NHL team scouts/executives. They’re the only ones with skin in the game, so I value them the most. From those conversations, I’ve been told that this year’s crop is pretty good for about 20-23 picks and then the field is wide open. This is a sneaky way of me telling you the latter half of my first round may turn out to be off when all is said and done.
For now, my rankings are based off “best player available.” This is pertinent because we would assume that Edmonton – guaranteed a top-five pick – will take a defenseman, based on organizational need. But anything can happen on draft day, so let’s just go with BPA for now.

It sounds like a couple of teams really like McLeod.

when you're following a team that could draft in that 5-7 range I think it's good to see some volatility when it comes to rankings in that area.
a lack of consensus should mean more positional picks and give the Flames more options

If the Flames pick at 6-7 do they take Sergachev? Apparently he is NHL ready.

Minus the final vowel sound in 'Nay', so [ne] instead of [nei], if that makes any sense. Lie Neh?

Edit: probably not helpful. You can just kind of make a general unstressed vowel sound after N and it's okay.

I'd be pleased with the Flames picking Sergachev. McLeod or him and I'll be happy with the draft.

Only if the top forwards are gone.

Why does that matter? I don't get it. I am not at all concerned with what they can do next year, I want whoever is going to become the best player overall.

though it is still a litte disappointing to not be watching Calgary in the playoffs, we have a great shot at landing a nice player in the draft.
barring Oiler-esque horseshoes in the lottery and get one of the top 3 picks, we'll probably still be able to pick one from the group of

 dubois
 nylander
 tchachuk

personally i hope we look at a forward ahead of a dman, but have always believed that you pick the best player available...

The only way I'd take a D-man is if Dubois/Fins/Matthews are gone and the options are Chychrun/Sergachev Vs Nylander and Tkachuk.
