Monahan has a lot more consistency with who he plays with plus playing with Gaudreau is going to make a big difference on his point totals.

You just presented data to say that a) Kadri's offensive production isn't that good and b) he doesn't drive offense regardless of who's he's playing with. And that he may put up points if he could ride another better player's coattails. Ok, I agree!

No doubt that Gaudreau stirs the drink but since he always plays with Monahan, it's hard to make any kind of other conclusion. IIRC anecdotally Monahan has looked great without Gaudreau during their stints apart.

Well Komarov made the All-Star team because of his great start to the season and a lot of that had to do with him playing with Kadri. Unfortunately for Kadri Komarov isn't exactly the greatest of playmakers. He has played with scrubs for the majority of his career. Unless you are a superstar you need some help on your line if you want to put up good numbers.
