Netflix announced Top Gear will be streaming the same day BBC airs it in the UK.

This is win win, we continue to get BBC production quality with a reboot of the original, plus a completely new show with the hosts we already know.

Can't wait.

The "round-the-world" format will allow customers of different nations to be in the audience as tickets are to be released through prize draws this summer.
The name befits the presenters' wish to make a new show noticeably different from what they had presented before, which was mainly studio-based with pre-recorded segments and big set pieces.

How on earth is this going to work from a broadcast perspective? I've been to a Top Gear Live event and don't think filming it live for TV is going to translate well on TV.

I'm thinking a mix of those Top Gear Live things and the old show. Like instead of that studio they'll have different settings, but still lots of pre-recoreded segments.

Chris Evans is unbearable. LeBlanc is likeable but isn't a great presenter. Chris Harris is relegated to Extra Gear? So far I'm not impressed.

I thought it was alright, not the dynamic of the trio but still entertaining. Drag,drag, drag was funny. I still don't like Chris Evans.
