What are your top six offseason goals/wishes for the Flames?

Personally, my list goes:

1. Re-sign Gaudreau
2. Re-sign Monahan
3. Find a legit #1 goaltender
4. Clean out the trash.
5. Sign a top-line right winger
6. Sign our other RFAs (except BvB and Shore)
7 (I'm cheating). Re-sign Nakladal

Pretty much all of these.

Not worried at all about #1 and #2.

For #3, I'd rather them just sign Reimer and use all our draft picks to really re-stock the cupboard. None of the trade bait goalies out there really pique my interest. Then I guess of course you run the risk of someone else nabbing Reimer and it's too late to use those picks for currency. Maybe the plan is to try and do both? Trade for Raanta (or whoever), sign Reimer, and if you can't do both then you sign Ortio? Guess I'm okay with that.

#4 is something I guess I have to look up, but after goalies and re-signing people, how much money is left for this? Probably something we try and find internally, at least until next year when Wideman, Smid and Engelland's contracts are done.

1- trade for Anderson or Murray (address goalie situation)

2- sign RFA'S (johnny and Sean included)

3- try to move Wideman/Stajan/Bollig/Raymond

4- Draft well and only move a pick to solve Goalie situation

5- look at signing top 6 winger (will depend on how successful the team is on "wish 3"

1) sign RFA's; not all of them but most
2)Trade Wideman: he has value and I can see some teams having interest especially after July 1st
3)Buy out/get rid of a couple of guys: Raymond is #1 on the list but Stajan is close, Smid should be on the LTIR so maybe not him, Bolig isn't that bad but if possible would be nice
4)Find a good goalie: it would be ideal to get one for free in UFA like Ward who can mentor younger guys or Reimer who's just hitting his stride. Trading for a goalie should be last resort unless it's a sure fire goalie and they don't over pay.
5)Sign impact UFA's: Lucic would provide a lot of what this team is missing. A guy like Perron woud be good on the first line too or Okposo but they'd have to be good signings.
6)a big trade: I know I said trade wideman but the return would likely be next to nothing. I mean make a trade for a good player that can help the team now and in the future. This could be for a goalie or a top 6 winger like Nich.

I'd love Okposo. I'd like Lucic. Backes is old, but he'd be good.
Most solutions on the RW in free-agency this summer are good ideas...

2) trade for a legitimate #1, if that can't be done then sign Reimer
3) Sign a top 6 forward with a track record. One of Eriksson/Okposo/Backes/Ladd/Perron(though not preferred)
4) Trade at least one "fatty" contract if possible, need to free up cap space.
5) Sign some RFAs, namely Colborne and Ortio
6) Address the defence depth. Either re-up Nakladal or look around for a stay at home type, because we have enough puck moving D as it is.
