Is Dubois in your 6? If so - who's not? Nylander, Chych or Tkachuk?
I wouldn't have Nylander in my top 6. Don't think his size is ideal for our forward makeup in this big, bruising Pacific division. I prefer the bigger Tkachuk and Dubois as both play a much more powerful game and we need their size/strength. Nylander is a nifty playmaker and has high skill but we have such a need for big, strong, skilled wingers that I'd drop him based on style.
I mean I'll still be pretty happy if we land Nylander but ideally we get someone bigger and stronger who can power through checking, drive the net, screen the goalie, win board battles. Every time we play LA and ANA our lack of size up front in skill positions is exposed.

Flames ROW is the same as Winnipeg now. Head to head tie break if tied at the end of the season?
It should be the number of points earned in games between the two teamss. If two teams are tied still than the greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Head to head is a wash because of the 3 game set. In that case you throw out the first game and then we end up tied.
If we end up tied in wins and ROW then it will go down to goal differential. We are currently at -30 and the Jets at -25 so they currently have the tiebreaker. So if we lose in OT and they lose then they stay ahead of us as long as the goal differential doesn't change massively.

I am absolutely livid with Q, as are many other 'Hawk fans...HATED the re-Signing of Rozival, HATED Q's reliance on his "veteran presence"...The guy has been AWFUL, despite Q giving him favorable zone starts, and padding his stats by putting him on the ice with the 2nd line O-zone much of the year.
If I had to use an adjective to describe Rozi, at this point in his career, that adjective would, at best, be "lumbering"...and countless LWs have blown by him, especially during this recent downslide. Also he has had a very NON-veteran habit of over pursuing puck-side, leaving opponent LWs clear sailing
Tonight, F'n Rozi was out there with Tarasenko, with a 1-0 lead and 1:16 to go...predictably Rozi puck watches and drifts out of position, leaving, yet another, opponent LW wide open. That goal doomed any chance of moving up the standings.
I'd rather have ROOKIES making those kind of bonehead mistakes...there is NO EXCUSE for a guy that has been around, like Rozival, to be so out of position that he can neither play the puck, play the man, nor clog the shooting lane...

Yes, but the head-to-head is tied too (they don't count the first game played in Calgary in the tiebreaker). So, it would go to goal differential, which Winnipeg wins.
On Saturday:
Flames ROW & any Jets loss = Flames finish higher
Flames SO win & Jets regulation loss = Flames finish higher
Flames SO Win & Jets OT/SO loss = Jets finish higher
Any Flames loss = Jets finish higher (highly unlikely, but if the Flames lose in OT/SO and Jets lose by more than 6 goals, the Flames would finish ahead)
Any Jets win = Jets finish higher

Totally agree... I think Nylander is likely to be 7-9. Dubois seems to have come on and passed him on most lists. Also with shinkaruk in the system now and mangiapane signed... The flames do not need a small skill perimeter forward the same way they could use a power winger. That said he is very good for the type of player he is and I wouldn't be upset if they pick him
I'm hopeful that if the flames pick 6th (most likely after tonight, finish 5th and drop one slot in the lottery) that one of those teams picking 4th or 5th take Chychrun or Juolevi and the flames get a shot at one of those two forwards who seem to be more and more the consensus second tier guys up front. If not I'd rather they take their preferred defenceman and get the pick of the litter as much as it would sting to miss out on a top 6 forward.
Probably comes down to what vancouver does. Columbus will for sure take dubois after the johansen for jones trade, seems like a no brainer that they will go for the big guy who can score and play centre. So of Van picks 5th, would they take tkachuk or a dman I wonder?
