Make that +7 for Fowler now. Ouch.

Ernie Els just seven putted the first green from 2 feet. Yes, you read that right.

Spieth at -5 has a two stroke lead so far, he looks very good. Again.

Day at -3 after 6 holes, he looks poised to put up a nice round.

Weir is at +2. Tom Watson finished at +2, not bad.

Els at #1 was crazy. It boggles my mind how he could keep missing those putts from 2-4 feet away.

I bet a buck on both Weir and Tom Watson. I think they both had 1500/1 odds.

Spieth with a bogey free 66. Day and Bubba at -3 with their back nines to go still. Hopefully they can close the gap to avoid another Masters that is over by mid-day Friday.

For as great as Jordan's first half of last year was, what Day has done since the Open Championship last year to right now is more impressive. He's basically won half the tournaments he's entered, which is ridiculous. He putts as good as Jordan, but his extreme length makes things even easier for him.

Ouch.........Day was one stroke back a few minutes ago, but after a bogey and a triple he's now at -1.

Weir finished at +4.

Day is now at even going to the 18th. Yikes, a pretty big fall on the back nine. Hope he can get back in it tomorrow.

The back nine is so interesting to watch at Augusta. A player can easily gain 4 or 5 strokes or lose 4 or 5 strikes on those holes. Garcia has gained 4 strokes on 13-16 while Day has lost 5 strokes on 14-18. Schwartzel and Fowler had terrible back nines as well. Kjeldsen and Mcilroy have pretty good back nines going right now.

Those few holes of Day's were painful to watch. Spieth's putting looked back on, looking forward to tomorrow.

Hopefully Jordan Spieth doesn't ruin another Masters. Pin positions are really tough today and I'm hoping weather conditions get tougher by the time he tees off.

Hoping someone at -2 or better can get out in 30 and put some pressure on by the time Spieth tees off.

I think anyone under par after rd 1 is still in it.

Awful that Day really hurt his chances with a few bad holes though. It seems like he was so ticked about messing up 15 that he went for the hero shot on 16 and ended up pulling or hooking the heck out of it.

15 might be a massive fairway, but such a difficult up and down when you don't hold the green... so much slope like many of the greens there. I don't think the TV is really able to show how much slope there are on the greens at Augusta.

Early in the day and only a few golfers are out on the course. Weir is now up to +8. Poor Ian Woosnam, after 8 holes he's up to +15!

I didn't realize Bubba had a total meltdown on the back nine yesterday. 5 bogeys and a double for a 41, started -3 thru 7 holes too. If Speith can go out today and shoot a 68 or so this thing is probably over.

Yeah, Bubba is now at +5. Hope one of the leaders can put together a solid round today, I don't want this weekend to be anti-climatic. I like Spieth and all but it would be nice if there was at least a little bit of drama on Sunday.
