That'll be the real question. Tkachuk is probably more NHL ready now. Puljujarvi was said to likely need another year playing over there or here in the AHL.

Think Puljujarvi can play but it'll be a year of learning and adjustment like Barkov's rookie season IMO.
nice goal! Thanks for following this so closely Henry. He may not be as good as Laine, but the kid still looks really good and he looks so young, I know he's young but I still think he'll mature a lot and his game will mature a lot too.

My impressions are still a very limited take and I've been biased towards Laine since November at least. Puljujärvi had one above average shift in the first OT. Other than that really quiet.
The series is 2-2. Impossible to predict. Puljujärvi has a better lineup around him. Laine's team feels more limited with the puck but they have enough tenacity to win the series.
Seems that if Puljujärvi's season ends, it's U18 for him. Laine might have a chance to make the men's national team.
Even if PJ seems to be sliding a bit it would be very tough to pass up on him if the Flames pick at 3. Big, right handed winger with potential. Gotta snap him up.

Don't think we'd ever pass on him. I think there's a chance a team that needs a d-man might pass on him or trade down.

If the Oilers slide to 3 I could see that. But then again I've thought the Oilers should trade their 1st this year for immediate help, regardless of whether it #1 or not.
Hardest part is we have no idea what the order will be. Need to fast forward to April 30th!
Laine with 27:59 ice time in the game (most on his team including the defensemen), Puljujärvi 12:42. A big difference in roles tonight. Their average ice times are closer though, Laine 17:59, Puljujärvi 16:04.
Laine shares the lead for goals scored in the playoffs with 5, leads the playoffs in shots with 60 in 9 games.
