The Sabres have outright tanked in the past under Murray. I think they did it for both Ekblad and McDavid. They can think what they want, but they're lying to themselves.

I recently found out Nationwide Arena is built on the site of a former Ohio prison where 300 inmates died in a fire in 1930. So that place is haunted. No good karma is going their way.

No argument can be made for a team that employs Nazem Kadri.

The Coyotes, Jets and Flames have all given it the old college try, though I wonder if every Hiller start is a cosmic strike against.

Here's something. Matthews is wearing 34 over in Switzerland. Surely that's gotta count for something.

After the buffoonery up north, we are owed. We are owed.

I think they might have actually taken Sam Reinhart 1st in Ekblad's draft year. They absolutely fell in love with him and his crazy playoff performance. And they had just drafted Ristolainen and Zadorov both in the first round the year before so I don't think they needed D as bad as some of the other teams drafting high that year.

yeah. we don't want any scouts at the practice to learn Hillers style or they could find weaknesses, leading him to get shelled during the game!

What makes Shinaruk a likely top sixer is that he goes to the tough areas despite his size and has a nose for the net. You can tell scoring is a natural ability for him and he knows how to do it. He has a really quick stick and makes chances count. While his goal last night was off a couple rebounds, he needed to pot that quickly to beat Enroth's reaction and he showed that finish. I think at least until he bulks up, he won't be very effective all over the ice. But as long as he can make his opportunities count then that'll make him valuable as an NHLer.

As for the draft. My hope is no matter where we end up, that it's another case of being in just the right spot. Like in 2013 with Monahan.

So much like Bennett.

You should start a thread for this type of information. The people need to know. If someone else runs it a different amount of times than 6, that should also be in its own thread. Basically everyone who runs a simulator should start their own thread, and we can comment on those simulator results. I'd hate to have someone run a simulator, with all the real life rewards, and it get lost in a mega thread.

Like this. This should be in its own thread. We need to know exactly what happens when you push a button, and how many times you pushed the button. I will be emailing the compilations to Trelving and King.

Draft lottery simulator results are only behind future line combinations (where will Lucic and Hamonic be slotted?) are my two favourite post types. Just top notch stuff that I can't get enough of.

Draft simulator odds do have that special bonus of no one actually knowing if these random sites are actually using proper odds and spitting out relevant results - so that does add to the fun.

Just ran the simulator and it took 5 times before Calgary got the first overall pick.

Watching last night, I couldn't stop thinking about how much better the Flames would be with Lucic.

Draft simulator results are the blues name fiasco of the FOI forum.

I feel draft simulator results are worthy of reporting, no matter the cherry picking or number of times it is ran.

Actually I think Bennett has been quite effective along the boards and outside of just around the net. He's shown a great all around game and a fair amount of grit for a rookie. In fact you could argue the one things he's been missing for stretches of the year is finish.

You are free to do whatever you want. The effort it takes to post in all of those threads, including many I don't read, will definitely be worth it. I can't wait to read what happens when Carolina gets the 1st pick. Riveting posts are coming, I'm sure.

I pushed a button, and this team's name came up. I pushed the button again, and another string of letters came up! People need to know!
