Flyers with a huge win over Presidents winners Washington, after Detroit squanders a game against bottomfeeder Montreal.

Pittsburgh rise is pretty insane considering they lost Malkin -- they're secondary guys and rookies are stepping up big time. They look like the favorite in the east right now the way they are playing.

Lol Colorado - no real surprise.

The eastern conference is crazy in that no team besides the Capitals have clinched a playoff spot.

The west has no seedings locked, but, six teams have clinched a berth. The Stars and Blues can only finish as low as third place in their division.
