Only a few games left now. On the bright side VAN and BUF won so it was a pretty solid night in reverse standings.
Games against the Kings and Ducks show why we need to continue to add players who are big and strong in addition to skilled and fast. Need at least a couple more power forwards to compete against them. Luckily this draft is deep in big, skilled forwards and d-men.

Those last 2 games will be must watch TV to see how shameless both organizations can be on the tank. Hell, we may see Andy Moog, Frank Pietrangelo, Dave Lumley and Stan Smyl out there.

What are you on about? We've had good goaltending for half the year. That's not good enough. Good teams have good goaltending for most of the year if not all of it. Having good goaltending for only half the year is pathetically bad. And that's why it's our #1 priority to upgrade. Ortio has been great. But you can't throw out all the games the other goalies played where they were abysmal in your analysis.
Ramo and Ortio have given us not just solid but great goaltending since Nov 13th (Ramo's amazing game in Washington)
Despite that the two goalies are a combined 19-19-4 since then.
19-19-4 is an 82 point pace. That puts us where, 10th in the conference instead of 11th?

Brutal...I haven't seen a review called correctly this year...For 'Hawk fans, the feeling is, if Toronto is involved, even just to flag the review, we are NOT going to get the call in our favor.
After viewing the above stream, (BTW thanks, Kirant), On this one, Scuderi backs Colbourne in, ever so slightly, and the contact is made, as the puck hits Schenn's skate...NO EFFECT ON QUICK'S ABILITY TO PLAY THE PUCK...in fact, He never even attempts to make a move on the puck.
