Lots to like tonight. Money was fantastic, as was Brodie. Another solid game for Hamilton and Ortio.
Really liked Shinkaruk's game. Wasn't sure what to expect but he could be a player. Speed, some sandpaper, some offense.

Really liked Ortio tonight. Came up big and made that important save on Sekac after Stajan nuked a pass right to his future team mate.
Shinkaruk looked NHL ready out there tonight. Had some real jam to his game. Almost put Domi out to pasture. Never thought I'd say that lol. Maybe its just being amped to play for the Flames or he really gets it. We'll see him in ANA I am sure. With the way he payed he looks like he would compliment Bennett quite nicely if Gaudreau is back too.
Like Grant. He just one of those guys who'll go unsung but is really important to the team.
Ferland had a nice game, but theres a bunch of little things that bug me about him.
Bennett could get real hot down the stretch and finish strong. Would be nice to walk out of the season on a high note for him.

Rag dolls Sekac with one arm, and he's not a small guy.
Good game to watch and was impressed with the call ups especially Shinkaruk. Ortio was solid and kept the team in it with some timely saves (that Hiller would have let in).

Losing Frolik might suck. Means nothing but maybe it keeps Shinkaruk up for the a bit longer. Espcially considering Jankowski will likely be here as well as early as tomorrow.

Monahan is now only 3 points away from tying his 62 points from last season. Already surpassed his assists total of 31. Ok, I know a number of his points have come when the team was out of the play off race, but you can't deny he's had a good season. I mean, last season you could argue that Johnny and Hudler helped boost his stats, but this season, he's put up points without Hudler for the most part and without Johnny for a handful of games.
If the Flames can find a legit first line RW that can hang with Sean and Johnny, I see no reason why Sean can't be a consistent 60-70 point player for the next 5 years.
