He got off to s horrible start and the media haven't said much since. Oilers fans on HF have ran with the story he is awful (there was a thread titled "Dougoe Hamilton ruined the Calgary Flames")
Dougie is on his way to a career season and this is after a rough first 25 games as a Flame. He has been scoring at a 50+pt pace over a full season in his last 50 games

Yeah, that was funny. Montreal gets Price back, they can make it in. Calgary gets decent goaltending, they can be back. Ok I buy both of those. Edmonton gets McDavid back.... He's 2 points away from a career season, yet when he was in Boston he was going to be the next big thing and now he isn't? I don't get the media sometimes

He had 5 points in his first 23 games as a Flame.
Since then, 32 points in 49 games for a PPG of 0.65
0.65 extrapolated over a whole season is 54 points.
EDIT: That was after the last Montreal game.
