I've consistently defended Stajan, given what he has been asked to do on this team. But he's obviously lost a step. With Grant's faceoff ability, he might be the option for next year.

Well, if it's OK for people to post over and over about Stajan, Colborne, Hiller (when he isn't even playing) etc. etc.
I agree it gets tiresome, but I'm not sure why it's different because it's Ferland.

Skating is fine, his hustle is fine. That 1st assist was really nice. What is grinding my gears is he is rarely ready for a pass when someone passes it to him. One play he was skating out of the D zone into center ice, he was open, not even looking back for the puck, Brodie passes it right to him it surprises him when it hits his skate.
Second play that drove me nuts, Hamilton feeds him perfectly in the slot of a great chance but he just barely realized he needed to get his stick down and he loses the handle on the puck and it's a play going back the other way.
I get it, blown plays happen all the time, but normally players are paying attention. He isn't, IMO.

I saw him stick out his stick and purposely hook it around a guy's ankle, then give it a tug. Seems like a trip.
