If he wasn't shouting from the rooftops about how pious and god fearing he was that might make sense.
That it exposes at a utter fraud and shyster is the important aspect of it.

I doubt that many GOP voters share your viewpoint.

I'd have to disagree. It speaks to his trustworthiness, in deceiving his spouse, the one who he should be most honest with. And once, well, ok people screw up. When it is multiple? Now, I wouldn't care if he got a divorce, or had an open marriage, but it's the deceit angle that reflects on his suitability for office.

This Cruz story is very likely garbage. Two of the women have already denied it. One of the women that has denied this, Katrina Pierson, works for the Donald Trump campaign and would really have every reason to further smear Cruz. Cruz has also denied it. Also Trump and David Pecke.r, who runs the tabloid, are noted long time close friends.

Another one is Amanda Carpenter on CNN, The look on her face when a Trump supporter brought up this morning was gold. Even Kate Bolduan blushed and got both ladies off the air as soon as possible.
Have to hand it to Trump, if someone throws bombs at him, he lights them and throws them back...pure comedy.

Shameless. He has no shame. If someone were to ask him "have you no shame?" he would say "no, I have no shame".
At least with Cruz they'll just get a conservative that nobody likes and he'll be an ineffectual dufus for four years. Trump though, I'm afraid this guy would do anything to get his way. Imagine someone in the big chair just willing to throw around rumours like this willy-nilly, saying and pissing off whoever he wants or every time he feels slighted. It would be like having a teenager in the White House. No offense to teenagers.
How did it come to this? There are four people (pretty much) running for President and I'd trust only one of them to be alone in my house for 15 minutes. And he can't win.
This is the most important job in the world (I hate those kinds of cliches, but it's probably true) and it's just a crew of duds. Crooks, backstabbers, creeps, and cranks.
On the other hand, seeing an amoral philandering lizard like Trump talking about someone else's marriage is kind of fascinating. This is a guy who admits to cheating on his wife, and talks about having sex with his daughter.
I don't really want to see this go any lower, but if Cruz wants to go lower, there are plenty of things to say, and it could be quite interesting.

Yes, currently, the attitude among sincere Republicans who like neither Trump or Cruz, but prefer Cruz for the nomination is that Cruz will simply lose to Clinton, maybe reaffirm some key issues, but then fade away into the night. Trump winning the nomination would destroy the GOP.

Well just what this election needs, #TrumpLovesPeckr trending. How much does it suck for every other candidate who lost in the GOP race to know this is the ####ing clown we lost to?

My main issue with it, if it is an actual story, is that it really puts a huge spotlight on the hypocrisy of religious conservatives of his ilk. Scream from the rooftops about marriage equality ruining the "sanctity of marriage," and yet many of them are guilty of infidelity, which is a far worse attack on the "sanctity of marriage" than is a committed gay couple getting married.

You could insert just about any politicians name into that tweet, they all lie, cheat and take payoffs in the name of winning. Hell, JFK even used dead people for phony votes and he's regarded as one of the best presidents in history.
FYI, Cruz started this latest crap, posting nude photo's of Trumps wife in the bible thumping state of Utah days before the voting is shameless as well.

That's not true. Those photos were posted by a PAC (Make America Awesome) that used to be associated with Scott Walker. Now that Walker is gone, it's basically turned into an anti-Trump PAC that wants to block Trump at all costs. They are not associated or support any candidate. There is nothing linking Cruz to that ad. Also, Cruz denounced that ad immediately. Trump's response was to post a tweet about Cruz's wife and say that he was going to "spill the beans" on her. Cruz called Trump out saying that comment was terrible, etc and still said Melanie is wonderful etc etc and to not involve people's wives in this.
Trump and Cruz are not equals. Trump is a despicable person and Cruz seems to be trying to keep this all civil.

If you believe Cruz is innocent in all this there's no help for you, His little "wink winks" to the superpacs behind the scenes are legendary and fool nobody, Cruz is the biggest joke out of all the candidates including Trump.

That makes absolutely no sense. Trump was polling around 12-15% in Utah. He had no chance of winning Utah at all and Cruz was a lock to win in a landslide.

He needed to win over 50% in order to take all the delegates. Even though Trump was only at 12-15%, he needed to make sure that he got over the hill.

He was never that low, he was polling 12-15% behind Cruz leading up to the voting. He ended up with 14% of the votes.

it speaks either to the decline of journalism or the dumbing-down of society when the Enquirer is being taken seriously.
