I dunno, I thought being in that air-waterbaord chamber for a whole weekend would be the worst thing ever.
It would be. But this is the thing about Deadpool's time in Weapon X. They broke him. They killed his one friend, they pushed him to the point that all he wanted was death. That is a big part of what drove him insane, not just the constant regeneration.
His hatred for Ajax made so much more sense in the comics. Months and months of the abuse. In the movie it almost glossed over his time in Weapon X, it cut some key parts for time and tried to add new reasons for Wade to hate the people that did this to him that were not as convincing.
I loved the movie, but there are some aspects that left me wanting.

Also saw it tonight. I actually liked it more than Man of Steel, although some thought will need to be put into much of the storyline. There was one area, of shoehorning in the upcoming Justice League movie, that was hamhanded and unnecessary, but I'm willing to take that out of the overall context of the movie as a whole.
Liked Affleck, Gadot, Irons, Fishburne... while the Superman crew was a little meh. That seemed to indicate to me that the parts in which Affleck had influence were smoothed over by Affleck himself on the writing side, while the Superman bits took the full hit of Snyder.

I ended up seeing it tonight. I wish I could say I hated it is much as I thought I would but I didn't. I actually thought it was just kind of crappy not a total dumpster fire. Better than MoS and TDKR imo. The reviews are pretty much bang on Jesse Eisenberg played an evil Mark Zuckerberg mixed with the joker by Jared Leto which he emulated from the trailers from suicide squad.
The plot is a mess and Luthor's evil plan had potential but ends up being totally moronic. Wonder Woman is being hailed as the bright spot because a) Gal Gadot is a ####ing smoke show b) the rest of the movie is painfully mediocre and dull c) there are almost zero good females in action movies. Which brings me to another complaint if I have to watch Lois Lane run around in her ####ing high heels and pant suit one more time saving the day I may put a gun in my mouth.
I didn't hate it. I didn't love it but it gets a meh. Swing and a miss for sure.

You never *have* to, you volunteered AND you paid to see it! Hahahah!!!
Wow that video is very well done, hahahahah. When Ben says at the start "I haven't read any reviews" he sounds like Leo in Wolf of Wall Street when he takes those 'lemons'. Just numb.

1) Marvel has shown us what they think comic book cinema should look like
2) DC is about to show us what comic book cinema could look like
I think that the happy go lucky feel of the MCU will be torn apart by the realistic graphic nature of the DCU... starting with Batman v Superman, but the real blow will come with Suicide Squad

Actually, I kind of feel bad for the guy. By all accounts he was good, he tried to make the movie and script better and he got the opportunity of a lifetime to be Batman and its all gone straight to crap despite his best efforts.

I haven't seen this yet, but I have a feeling that it will still make me want to see a Ben Affleck Batman solo movie. Especially if it follows the Red Hood story line.
My non spoiler review, but I'll put spoiler tags in case:
Spoiler!
Not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Pacing is a bit odd, inclusion of WW was probably not totally necessary, the dream sequences were out of place and the ending battle was pretty excessive. But the rest was decent. I enjoyed the first 3/4 of the movie. Last quarter was meh but not awful, and I personally liked the different take on Lex Luthor.

That poor naive fool.. always hopeful, always wrong.. I still do think Suicide Squad will be good though. And then hopefully they hand the reigns over to Ayer. A Johns/Ayer tag team could actually still save this... oh god see? The hope is still there! It's like a drug.
