Were people really arguing that an average goalie would post an average save percentage in front of this team? The coverage on all but the second goal was typical of this season... terrible.

Meh. at least Gaudreau and Monahan scored points. Abysmal PK tonight. Yikes.
Getting tired of losing to Minnesota too.

My biggest complain is Brian Bollig.
Why?
Gaudreau gets crosschecked in the back into the boards by Suter, Ferly chased him down the ice slashing and yapping at him. But Bollig needs to be the guy that gives Suter an equivalent shot, otherwise why is he friggin playing?
Edit: Just realized I meant Brandon Bollig. I'm leaving it because that's how little I care for his time here.

I hate his face when he's laughing after every dumb stick infraction while he skates to the penalty box. Its not funny... He needs to sit out.

Team plays a lacklustre game in game 73 of a lost season in front of a goalie who gives them a .79 performance. Shocking

Bollig is a part of the dying breed that is the enforcers (or pseudo enforcers) that really have little to no other real hockey skill other than face punching. There is no good reason for him to be on the Flames next year.
There is easily enough toughness on this team that they can get by with without Bollig. Engelland is BOTH a better hockey player, and also a better fighter than Bollig. Plus, Engelland can play both defence & forward as well. Then they have Ferland & Bouma who are much better hockey players than Bollig, plus they can handle doing fighting too. Now they also have Hathaway, who can provide at least as much hockey playing ability as Bollig if not even more, aside from face punching.
Bollig is only making $1.25M, so he's cheap and he's terrible. If he can't be traded in the offseason, he should be buried in the AHL next year. It's not like it's even a huge financial burden to do that, since about 75% of his cap hit can be buried.
It is becoming more and more clear that the season he had as a Blackhawk was a serious aberration. Other than using his fists, he simply isn't even remotely close to being a NHL calibre player whatsoever in any way, shape, or form at all.
Bollig is not needed on this team anymore at all whatsoever in any way, shape, or form. Ever.

Best 4th line we've had in years was ferland-stajan-Jones. Maybe Ferly needs a back to basics rejig to his game, because the superstar within has yet to shine

The Wild over the past few seasons have brought out the worst in the Flames. Backstrom wasn't very good but once again special teams is the difference in a Flames 2015/16 game as the Wild scored on the PP and the Flames wasted the majority of their opportunities.
Sure improving the goaltending is going to help but this organization really needs to take a hard look at what's going on with special teams as they are special bad.

On a positive note the Wild put a little space between them and the Avs.

Amen! If you need a collection plate to help us get rid of Bollig I can donate! Only if this is next season though. Right now I want Bollig playing big minutes. Playing him right now can only help this team! I would say call up Raymond too, but that SOB will probably score 20 goals in 9 games with our luck!

Tim Jackman was the same during the end of his run here as well.
