Just a word of warning -- the cresting on the $107.99 jersey is the single layer "faux stitch" version, not the three layer tackle twill stitching. Some might not care about the difference but others will -- they had both versions available at the downtown sport chek yesterday (player/size selection varies) -- the tackle twill version was $144 (still a great deal!)

Thanks for the heads up! I was just about to check out with the Gaudreau. Before I decide, what IS the difference I would notice?

I definitely know what you're talking about now. The $107.99 'faux stitch' will have the yellow-white-black all on one vinyl and a rippled pattern in that vinyl to look like stitching. Commonly the type you see ripple, no?

The twill for $143.99 will be the awesome thick one.

Were there any other teams Jerseys available at the downtown location?

Thinking of heading there before I order online.

I vaguely recall seeing a handful of other Canadian teams. Not much though. Might be worth a phone call.

They did have a bunch of Flames retro jerseys but only women's cut (including a Monahan crested jersey -- the "Premier" single layer faux stitch -- for only $100 which should be a sale price of $60).

I find that the Deerfoot Mall location has the best selection of NHL teams. I was there earlier today and picked up a Blackhawks jersey for my kid. I think they had premier jersey for pretty much every team available.

Deerfoot Mall, Deerfoot Meadows, or Crossiron will be your best bets because they have Hockey Experts combined within the Sport Chek store itself. Pretty busy today but if someone wants me to check inventory for a certain jersey send me a PM.
