Hiller reminds me of Uter from the Simpsons.
"Don't make me goaltend! I am full of chocolate!"

Agreed, but I don't think anyone on the Flames (players and up) even WANTS to tank...like, not even in the: "Oh, we're not tanking (but secretly we are)" way.
It seems to be a "be nice to the consummate pro" thing at this point. This is fine, I guess, given the fact the season's over. It's just annoying.

I really hope Hartley yanks Hiller if this gets to 2-0. He looks ready for another 5+ out there.
After a guy plays great after 15 months without seeing a game, any excuse Jonas wants to dream up is out. I really hope Hartley ends his Flames tenure tonight

Good on the Flames for extending Hiller the same opportunity as they did with Backstrom last night. This will likely be Hiller's last game in the league barring injuries. It doesn't matter if he plays poorly, it will be over soon.

So I was helping my niece and missed the goal. I assume I should watch the replay for another Hiller Special?

Hiller is used by the Flames to instill a false confidence in the offensive abilities of players all across the league. Then next year when we have a real goalie they'll be wondering why they can't score
