I'm shocked at the 180 Carol has taken since the mid season premier. She seems to be going down the Morgan path now after seeing what Rick and Co did to the saviors.

During the episode, my wife and I were trying to remember the doctor girl's name. Then they played with the whole Denise/Dennis thing and I said "Now that we actually know her name, she'll probably die soon".
On point.

Which is sort of what I thought, but its odd because he escaped and wanted to get away from them, but if they caught him again its odd that he was in a position of authority.
He did have his penis bitten though, so thats not gone in his favour.

This show has kind of gone away from walkers and more into dynamics of dealing with other groups. All the walkers now are just getting knifes to the skull by people who are indifferent to them. I kind of hope they show someone yawning as they're doing it sometime.
I'm not complaining, because really, there's only so much you can do with zombies for what 5 seasons. The odd escape from a super horde is great, but now it's turning into a mad max survival thing with various other groups, and I'm liking this.
When Jesus said your world is about to get much bigger, I assume there's going to be a lot more of this, going on. The prospect of dealing with other groups has a lot of potential, making alliances, building bigger armies, meeting bigger armies, etc. It could be like Vikings
Also the thing about Negin and why they were pretty eager to go after them, it was Daryl that jumped on that opportunity right away, he was the one that met them on the road, and had to blow them up, so he already had some experience, and did not like them.
Who is the latest villain with the scarred face, I can't remember him.

He was the guy Daryl ran into in the burnt forest who took Daryl prisoner for a bit. He was with the two girls, one of whom was a diabetic.

Agreed,
I'm enjoying this season much more with the main group dynamics and the introduction of multiple groups. Before we only saw the Grimes Gang take out one group at a time and deal with the walkers.
I still don't know what to think of the other settlement. Did they ever address that? I can't remember.

Have we seen enough child zombies? Pretty much all the walkers I can recall have been full-sized adults. Shouldn't there be more little zombies, and babies/crawlers?

There was the little girl with the stuffed animal in season 1; possibly was in the teaser at the beginning of the pilot episode.
We also saw Sophia as a zombie. Not sure if that counts.

Occasionally but not enough. My wife and I were talking about this a few weeks ago. Child zombies would be creepy and thats an angle I dont think they really played on hard enough.

Now this is gross but, maybe the little ones get to eaten up before they turn? Not enough left to be walking around and if they are that little they couldn't walk very well to start with. Most zombies have a few chunks missing as they were eaten for a bit before the zombies moved on..

Could be seen in bad taste to be stabbing kids and babies in the head. Even if they are zombies...

Sure, but that offers a whole other series of perspectives on the show.

This.
In a real life ZA, there would be TONS of child zombies running around, easiest targets and all that. Babies, not so much. They would be more like a little snack for a zombie. I imagine the producers consider the child/baby angle to a bridge too far, it probably wouldn't sit well with a lot of viewers.

I honestly think it would cost the show viewership, that is the reason they stay away. My wife definitely wouldn't watch if zombies that looked like our kids were getting their heads caved in. Even once would probably be too much.

Show is so predicable some times that way. "Oh look, a secondary character that's been around for awhile. The writers are developing the character out of the blue for no reason. Well, it was nice to know ya"

I think the fan demands have gotten a little out of control.
You simply cannot constantly kill meaningful well developed characters, as you don't have the time to have more than 10 or so well developed characters.
The show has done a good job of keeping the main cast of 8 or so characters and introducing side characters around them, which move in and out of the series. It's actually not entirely unrealistic either. If you were in a scenario like this (obviously not a realistic one to begin with) there'd be people you meet. Hang around with for a few months, and then they'd die.
My only complaint is that so few of the original Alexandria inhabitants became noteworthy. Aaron is the only one....although Spencer seems to be taking on a larger role. Enid could be around for a while too.
We should also keep in mind that this wasn't the season finale either. If they are going to kill a main character, it'll probably be left for the season finale. With the introduction of so many other characters from different camps with their own personalities, it's likely we'll see some of the main group culled to make room. Aside from Rick and Carl, no one is really safe in the final episode of the season.

I suppose thats a good point. I dont know if it would bother me.
There was a similar scene in Game of Thrones that I liked that this reminds me of that. It was very powerful.
So there is the possibility that, while you might be correct, this could also be a wild card that they're keeping up their sleeve.
"Ha! What are you doing with your Sunday evening? I'm spending mine watching toddlers get their skulls caved in by post-apocalyptic survivors."

You don't remember Carol shooting the crazy 13 year old ish girl?
plus Michonne ramming the sword through Carls nemesis, even though he was 16 or so, I guess.

I do remember but they sure haven't gone to that well very often, but I was more referring to little kids (3-10). They basically don't exist in this show presumably because they are all dead/zombies. The show creators don't seem in a hurry to show that though, even just as a part of a herd.
