In all my years watching hockey - and i've been to Flames games in the Corral - i've never seen a player anywhere near as uncomfortable in the spotlight or in front of a microphone than Jay Boumeester.
It was shocking and it comes as absolutely no surprise to me that he thrives in markets where he can go completely unnoticed as soon as he leaves the rink.
