He's been good lately but I'm still wary from Bouw...wanna see how Hamilton plays when the pressure is on.

I still get a tear in my eye every time I see Lanny lifting that Stanley Cup.

Bouw's career high in points as a Flame was 29 points. His career high in goals as a Flame was 6.
Dougie has 10G, 25A, and we still have a period and ten games left.

I agree with this, though a big plus is Dougie's going to end up around 40 points in only his first year here and Bouwmeester never had even a 30 point season with us. I think he's better than Bouwmeester ever was defensively too already, I still cringe at the thought of Bouwmeester's terrible shot blocking, down on one knee and hold his glove out in front of it, and zero physicality and intensity resulting in a full 82 games played every single year.

Well, I wasn't referring solely to points.

I still get mad about Bouwmeester when I have to remember his time here.
His last 3 seasons in Florida he had 12 goals, followed by two 15 goal seasons.
Then in Calgary: 3, 4, 5, and 6.
#### off.

I remember going to the first day of training camp when we got Bouwmeester and sitting up in the second deck and just watching that guy fly up and down the ice with that effortless stride and thinking to myself: yes. YES. We are for real now.
And then thhhhhbbbbbtthhbbbbhtthh...

How about referring to the fact Hamilton is 22 years old and will only get better.(history says so)

Flames playing well of late with all the pressure off. If they had played like this early in the year, we'd probably be in the playoff picture right now. What a frustrating season. Anyway, at this point I'm just happy to see these guys have some pride in themselves and aren't tanking. Winning is fun. Draft lottery be damned.

I like the way Backstrom has played. Amazing how good a goalie looks when he doesn't spend 50 minutes of the game on his knees.

He deserves some extra props given he hasn't had a start in the NHL in over 15 months. Really calm handling the puck too!

The Flames played well any time this year where they got even average goaltending.

Give them a break. The bolded players are regulars they started the year with. They're pretty much playing with a skeleton crew.
Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Andrighetto
Byron-Plekanec-Eller
De La Rose-McCarron-Lessio
Mitchell-Danault-Brown
Markov-Beaulieu
Emelin-Pateryn
Hanley-Dietz
Condon
