I'm just happy we get Hughson and Simpson for a national game, not stuck with Randorf/Galley, or especially Romanuk/Johnson.

Pretty sure he mentioned hometown hockey was in "Surrey home of the Canucks" before the first break too...

Not really, Hughson is a very good announcer outside of when he's doing Canucks games, with all his time spent there. Simpson is a very good color guy too.

Expected. He hasn't played in 15 months so he's rusty.

A boring period despite the pace. Neither side seems to be able to get through the other team's defense for any chances.

We have two top 6 wingers. 1 plays with Backlund, 1 with Monahan. Hartley is forced to play depth guys up there until Treliing acquires more top 6 forwards.

Ha, watching Ferly on that last shift was fun. After Emelin bumped him he waited for a chance to crush him back, finally got to at the horn.

Should be Frolik its a no brainer.
Jooris is nothing more than a 4th line player on any team. But nope lets promote him to 1st line. Garbage decision.

This team is so much easier on the nerves without Engelland out there.
