After Andersson, I'd say Neuvirth is definitely up there, depending on his acquisition cost. Neuvirth is always at least serviceable and he is still fairly young. But he is a pending UFA next year, which carries quite a bit of risk.
Bishop is good, but he's too old, expensive, and risky (contract) for the Flames.
Matt Murray is another strong option, but he's probably very expensive. This would be pure long-term.
The importance of goaltending cannot be understated. I don't think Ward, Rheimer, and other UFAs are worth the long and expensive contracts that they are likely to obtain. I would rather pay a ton for good goaltending than get average goaltending for low cost/free.
If Varlamov is truly available, he'd be one of my top choices as well.
