I feel so much more comfortable with Ortio in net and Backstrom on the bench. No Hiller to be seen. Feels good, man.

And, being very positive for the most part. I turned it to Avs because of the smudge on the Flames' feed- makes me crazy.

No, you're not making that up Mike. The NHL Video on kicked pucks makes that clear. Great point.

Looks like Jokipakka is finding some good offense from being the late trailer into the play.
Similar play just now to the goal.

Nak tries the give and go with Bollig. I guess he doesn't know who Bollig is yet.

You know - lots of people have been thinking of Arnold as a future 4th line centre... Freddie Hamilton is the same age.

I like that Gio finished MacKinnon hard into the boards.
Too bad about the goal.

Jokipakka has almost doubled his seasons points total since coming to CGY as well. He's responding positively to the increased opportunity. IIRC, he had 6 points before the trade and now has scored 4 points since coming to CGY. I really think this bodes well for the team and him.
EDIT:
40gp with Dallas: 2g, 4a, +1.
9 gp with CGY: 4a, -1

Why can't Friday night games be "Vin Scully night" and let Ball call the game by himself. All these replacement colour guys suck

I've seen nothing from him to indicate otherwise. I love his game. Nak and Kevin are both terrific additions.

I'd love a 4th line with Bouma and Hathaway next year.

Other than the goal, this was a pretty good period for the Flames.

Not sure he has a scoring threat of a shot, but he is smart with the puck for sure.
Nakladal could have a couple more goals already on the other hand, love what they both bring.
