UPD: Wideman done for the season with triceps injury.

#Flames Injury Update: Dennis Wideman (upper body) will not return tonight.
Appears to get injured behind the net on this goal after getting triped up by Colborne. Gif doesn't quite show it but he jams his shoulder against the boards
Wonder if Wotherspoon gets the call again or they look at another d-man like Culkin or Kulak. Of course assuming Brodie isn't ready for Friday.

Hope it's nothing serious. I'm not a fan but it's never good to see a player injured.

So if he's out for next game do they bring Wotherspoon back up or one of Kulak/Culkin?
Of course, that's assuming Brodie isn't ready to return.

Sucks for him. Been a total disaster of a season for him. First he has a terrible run up until that Nashville game, then the suspension and all that jazz, now 2 games into his return he goes over and gets injured. Poor bloke.
As for a call up, let Wotherspoon come back if Brodie isn't good to go. He earned it and looks comfortable. I'd prefer he got the shout.

If out for extended time no buy out. Sucks for him to get hurt and wish him the best, but if he's out for season, might be the last game we saw him in flames silks.

Hopefully Wideman gets better soon...always sucks to get hurt.
This is one year I imagine Wideman will want to forget. Hasn't found his game offensively, get stuck in a legal fight between the NHLPA and the NHL, then gets hurt soon after getting back.
