Sad to hear... Always could tell he put time and thought into wte he posted about on here... One of the major/main contributers here and definitely part of what makes CP so great.
Any chance we can honour his name here?? A guy with as many posts as him deserves to have his name in the rafters of CP.

I spoke with one of Eddie's closest friends regarding you guys wanting to donate money for flowers and such. Phanuthier was an avid climber and would often share with me stories of his latest adventure. Here's a blog of his describing his Summer climbing in the California Sierra. I should add that he has great talent for articulating his adventures.

Wow.... healthy active guy and he dies within months from other natural causes? That is incredibly unfair. Condolences to his family.
