I know exactly what those guys are talking about. I wouldn't be able to even raise the puck with a stick like that.

I use 110 flex Easton sticks, senior sticks, of course.

A 67 junior stick? My God lol. I can't believe he uses that.

I never get tired of watching Borowiecki give up on Johnny behind the net at 1:25 in that video.

I can sympathize. I'm 5'8", so when I'm using a 87 flex stick, I'm forced to cut it down at least a few inches, which means the stick becomes a fair bit more stiff.

I've considered grabbing an intermediate flex to see if it makes a difference.

I right there with you, Johnny. I use the junior version of my stick choice rather than the senior as well. I just prefer the weight and length, makes stick handling so much easier and I have no problem getting velocity on my shots.

I look at some of the tree trunks that some guys use and just laugh at how ridiculous it is.

Hockey players are so particular with their stick flex and curve. I'm 5'10" and I use a 75 flex senior stick, and I've found it to be more wieldy and comfortable. Apparently:

- Phil Kessel uses a flex less than 70
- Danny Briere started his seasons with a 90 flex and lowered all the way to 75 throughout the year!

It's not the size, it's how you use it...

I use a 110 senior with a 3" plug when I play defence.
I use a 75 junior cut down 1" when I play forward.

I'm actually a little concerned. He's been using the same sticks for as long as he can remember, but he's going to forced to use a different one next season, since they don't make them anymore.

Thing I love about Johnny is that he takes all this ribbing in such a good manner and always has a smile on his face. A lot of pros couldn't do that.
