Saw lots of goals tonight.
2 short handed goals.
A hat trick for Frolik.
Beat a team we had lost 6 straight to.
Had a nice conversation about pie.
All in all, a great night.

At the risk of being a party pooper, man was that effort by the Blues awful. Never seen them look quite so shambolic in their own end. Just glad we took advantage.
But, we did well tonight. A few lapses, again in the 3rd period when we had a lead, but all in all, a nice win, especially against a team that usually has our number.

Gio and Engelland was a surprisingly good defence pairing, as was Dougie and Kevin!

Great win. Monahan, Gadureau, Hamilton all with 3pts.
Can Dougie get 40pts?
Can Gaudreau get 80pts?
Can Monahan get 60pts?
Can Gio get 50pts?
All look likely to me

Do the blues have a hope against the other three Central teams? Looking like another one and done for them.

Thought it was going to be payday for the ol' hockey pool with Tarasenko and Pietrangelo playing against the Flames tonight. Huge mistake.

As someone who usually doesn't like Engelland on pretty much every pairing I've ever seen him on, bottom, middle, anything, it's amazing how much I don't mind him with Gio.

Frolik, Monahan, Gaudreau, Hamilton all with 3 points.
(in the other end:
Stajan 0 points, 0 SOG, 0 hits, 0 blocked shots, -1. Yikes.
Wideman marginally better with 2 blocked shots, although with almost twice the TOI.)

Really glad they won, losing would have been demoralizing for the boys.
