Sorry, but if you have to add a lemon or lime to a beer to make it palatable, it's not a good beer.

The stupid "Put a lime in the bottle" is stupid. I have not seen anyone drink Corona with lime in my travels in the United States. I think it may be a stupid Canadian thing.
Mexican Domestic Corona is very good though. I always alternate between that and Pacifico when that far south. Light, crisp easy drinking beer without too much carbonation. Of course, it helps that you can order them in 1.5 quart bottles at restaurants and bars.

I love Corona, but in no way is it cheap. Stupidly overpriced

I love going to daylight savings time. I enjoy the extra hour of sunshine after work. All my clocks update themselves, so I just wake up Sunday morning, and enjoy the day. I don't understand how so many people can say this hour dramatically alters their lives.

I don't mind daylight savings time. The bad part is having to listen to Mrs. MG whine about it for a couple of days twice a year.

Sounds like most people like the extra hour of light in the evening and would like to get rid of the "fall back" part.

I always heard that when light hits the clear bottles it damages the beer (something to do with bacteria vs hops?) and that the lime was supposed to counter/prevent this.

Do a Google image search for "Corona beer advertisement". Virtually every picture has a lime sticking out of the bottle.
It's definitely not just a Canadian thing.

I was told down in Mexico that limes were given with beer to rub on the rim of the bottles to remove rust from the cap (humidity) and to kill bacteria. Tourists just didn't understand and started pushing them into their beers and it became a thing

Many beers are served with fruit. Corona isn't the first or last and I don't it's ever been for any reason other than what all others have: taste

Why can't it simply be because it's tasty

I noticed this too. With both Pacifico or Corona, they place a lime on top of the bottle for you. I pushed them in because I thought that's what you're supposed to do.
I love beers of almost all types, from the hoppiest, bitterest beer you can think of, to a nice cold Corona that many beer snobs refer to as "Mexican piss". On a hot ass day with the sun beaming down, I'd take a Pacifico or Corona over a Stone IPA, despite Stone being one of my favorite beers, regardless of type.
Really, the only beers I don't like are particularly fruity ones (like something you'd get at Brewsters) or Lite beers like Bud lite, Coors lite or Miller lite.
