Winnipeg is pathetic. I don't think that locker room gives a single sh*t.

Well Big Buff went nuts today on what he thought was a missed whistle.

Well to be fair I think Pavelec is one of the worst starting goalies in the league. They just traded Ladd, one of their best forwards and are also without Brian Little, another one of their better forwards.

Scheiffele pulls one back. WPG 1-2 COL. He's their only game breaker up front.

Jagr had an amazing assist on the 2-2 goal in the Panthers/Flyers game. Can't post it now. Look it up.

That FLA/PHI game looks fun. Barkov and Smith score a couple quick ones.

Why did the Jets send their best goalie back to the farm? Are they intentionally tanking?

Probably best for him long term. Usually best to let goalies develop in the minors for at least a couple years. This is just his 2nd pro year. Having a young goalie behind a bad team can be bad for his long term confidence. I think they're thinking about what's best for Hellebuyck long term as the primary motivation behind their decision.

I see Comeau on the ice in important situations, and I just shake my head. How is this guy still relevant?

Wow, in terms of reverse standings those are a couple huge wins by BUF and WPG from the CGY perspective. Thank you BUF and WPG!

MIN winning and COL losing is pretty huge for that WC race.

Now it's time for meaningful win by the Oil.

Colorado was the team that looked like they didn't give a fata.

Pretty pitiful performance for a group supposedly fighting for their playoff lives. On the other hand, good resilience by the Jets.

Got to feel bad for Iggy. Looking to be another frustrating year just outside the playoff picture for him.

RNH back for EDM. At the deadline they dealt away Purcell and Schultz and acquired Maroon, Pardy, Cracknell. One of the only bottom feeders who actually improved at the deadline.

Smith back for ARI, wonder how he'll fare. No OEL, that'll hurt ARI a lot.

Well they're not done yet but I think that game could be the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. You just can't sit back like that, up two goals.

Casually watching Iggy and the Avs this season, they have been so up and down, it must drive Roy crazy(-ier?). There must be a a stat for it, but they've lost a ton of games tied or ahead going into the third.

Another observation - draft class mates Monahan and Mackinnon could learn from each other. Mackinnon is a crazy good skater but seems to lack some of that amazing awareness I love about Monahan (not sure you can teach that?)

Pulling for the Avs. The Minnesota Mild are not an entertaining group.

Edit: forgot to add, I don't think Landeskog should be captain. Love the player, but as a leader? This group needs an old wise man like Beauchemin
