If Perez stays I agree, he's all about revenue and not the on field results. If someone can somehow replace him though, he might be sold.

The rules Perez put in place to be president are ridiculous though, so I don't even know who can replace him.

Well, it is called 'Real' Madrid for a reason, its run very much like a Monarchy.

You gotta have the right blood to be President of RM.

The shakiest of wins today. There were good chances throughout the game, but Navas kept this from being a disaster until Real could finally score.

It better be a weak opponent in the quarters or it's over. Even then, that's as far as it goes.

Chelsea and PSG tied at 1-1 (2-3 agg) 25 minutes in. Should be a wild finish to this game.

Watching Chelsea lose is cathartic. I could do it every week.

Dortmund are much much better than Spurs 2nd squad (with Eriksen/Lloris/Alderweireld)

Tottenham play Aston ####ing Villa this weekend. How they simply choose to throw the EL away to save the best players for Villa is mind-boggling. And a damn shame too, I was really looking forward to Dortmund-Spurs.

Yep, I would have kept Walker/Rose and played Tripper/Davies on the weekend

plus I don't know how you can expect to go to Dortmund and not have Dier or Dembele in midfield, Mason and Carroll can both pass the ball but they need someone physical beside them

Villa on sunday and Bournmouth the sunday after that, no clue why they couldnt go full strength for these and rest a few for each of those

Exactly. Dembele still hasn't hit the pitch.

Yeah, its a shame that Spurs basically threw that.

Despite the fact that its highly likely that both Spurs and Dortmund are going to naturally qualify for the Champion's League next season whereas United and Liverpool pretty well need to win this.

I'm hoping for the best, but I was pretty sure that this was either Spurs' or Dortmund's tournament to win.

I don't imagine United fans will be happy with that call. Looked soft. 1-0 Liverpool. Pretty equal game so far other than that.

Spurs have to throw that and concentrate on the league, even against Aston Villa.

55 years man, 55!

That's longer than the Leafs!

United is so screwed when De Gea leaves this summer.

the weird thing was how late it was called

you could see it at the top of the screen just looked like a clash of legs that gets low 5-10x a game

then 3 seconds later the whistle

they did say before this game the ref loves a card/pen

Well, Liverpool the better side, but both goals will go down as controversial.
