Did you read the article? It has nothing to do with Canada or Canadians (aside from the author being from here). It talks about how Republicans want to stop Trump and some are planning to try to circumvent the primaries.

i'm guessing that, no, he did not read the article.
It's exactly as you said, showing the Republican establishment's open advocacy to drop Trump, using quotes from interviews with members of the establishment.

After all, the Founding Fathers made it quite clear when they drafted the Constitution that they didn't think that "the people" could be trusted to make the correct decisions if they were given the chance to vote.
Accordingly, to drop Trump would be completely in line with the originalist view of the Constitution that many in the conservative movement claim to agree with.

Interesting slate of new polls on RCP. A couple have Rubio inside 10 points in Florida, while a couple others have him down 15-20 points. More interesting is that Ted Cruz is almost within the margin of error in North Carolina, and a new Fox poll has Kasich up 5 in Ohio. So perhaps the anti-Trump campaign is finally knocking him down a few notches and making it more difficult for him to win enough delegates to avoid a convention. Hillary up 30 points in Florida and North Carolina but Ohio looks to be tightening.

I feel like if the Republicans ignore the primaries and vote in whatever candidate they want, at that point they're probably conceding the presidency to the democrats and are just trying to maintain majority in the House and Senate.

Anti-Campaign? Sounds like the definition of propaganda. Perhaps this is the modern equivalent of political propaganda.

The House is ridiculously gerrymandered so they won't lose control of that... the senate on the other hand, that could easily change hands.

Carson to endorse Trump:
http://www.nytimes.com/politics/firs...p-endorsement/
Quote:
“There’s the Donald Trump that you see on television and who gets out in front of big audiences, and there’s the Donald Trump behind the scenes,” Mr. Carson said. “They’re not the same person.”
“One’s very much an entertainer, and one is actually a thinking individual,” he said.
Mr. Carson said that Mr. Trump would be “a lot better than Hillary” and that he would not be as bad as many conservatives fear. He said that Mr. Trump was “more reasonable” than people realized and that he could be an asset to Republican efforts to maintain control of Congress because he is harnessing the anger of the American public.

That does not sound like an endorsement at all haha. That's not exactly Presidential-quality...

I don't understand how any human being can listen to Trump talk and think "Yup, that's my guy. That's who I want to vote for."
He's making Cruz and Rubio seem like reasonable people. That's literally insane that anyone can do that.
