Man, Jones really is going to get a shutout.

Its shifts like that which drive me nuts with Joe, missed a soft hit, also missed the puck and then basically coasted the rest of the shift. All the more aggravating when you see what he is capable of doing...

Ortio hasn't been busy but he's kept this a tight game. Made some good saves tonight.
Jones is just on another level right now though. Too bad.

Surely if the flames keep doing what they've been doing at least one sneaks through

I want to see Burns driven through the end wall on a clean hit.

Russell gets all the credit for scoring that last min goal against the Canucks in last season's playoffs, but it was a beast of a shift by Colborne that led to that goal.
He is very capable, so it's frustrating to watch him sometimes. I hope he comes back next year in a bottom 6 role.

This is the problem with Bollig... WTF is he? and why is he not running Burns every chance he gets? What a waste of a roster spot...

Backlund has been incredibly strong on the puck for the last 10 games.

I really like Jokipakka. Just seems to get it. Doesn't have a clear line for a shot on net so he puts it in a high percentage area for a Flame to get the puck. He's done that in his own zone a bunch tonight. Just calm and makes smart decisions with the puck.

Wouldn't mind seeing someone take a penalty going after Burns. Send a message.

Agreed. Nice addition to the Flames defense.

Ferland almost completed a nice move there before the break. Just seems to lose it half way through a smart move like that though. He's a ways away IMO from being a staple up with the big club. Good thing for him though is there's lots of opportunity to figure it out before the end of the year.
Side note. I'd like to see Shinkaruk get a shot up with CGY before the end of the year.
