Wow, is Hamilton a very difficult team to predict! I sure like the cfl a lot for games like this, just not when your trying to pick the winner and you can't tell if they are gonna roll over and die or actually show!?!

I'm sorry calf, my memory is failing on me. Was it not Calgary that lost to Hamilton earlier in the season? I can't recall, the only thing I can recall is Sask beating the tiger kitties twice.

And, was it not the Stampeders that two weeks ago lost to Edmonton, which is possibly the only other team in the league that can't beat Hamilton?

You know, we can sit here and bicker back and forth, but once the playoffs start, as a Riders fan, I know they can take care of their own business.

Didn't the Stamps beat the Riders twice this season?
Aren't the Stamps ahead of the Riders in the standings?
Haven't the Stamps won Grey Cups in the last, I dunno, 16 years or so?
Haven't the Stamps also had home playoff games in the least, I dunno, 16 years or so?
Stamps are in year 2 of rebuilding. How many years of rebuilding did it take for the 'Riders to become a contender? 7 and counting, it seems...

You got nothin'

For the record, I was joking and not trying to pick a fight. Which is why I used the laughing smiley guy.

oh, and guess who's clinched a playoff spot tonight?

Calf, what you fail to realize is that chances are we will be meeting again in the post-season, and when the time comes we will even the score - when it matters most. Boo ha ha

That's right, Da Riders are going to the big dance this year. Ken, Winnipeg might get the cup, but as soon as the grey cup game is over, it won't see it again untill the next time Winnipeg hosts.

We're gonna party like it's 1989!

Further proof that Rider fans = Oiler fans. Hold onto the past becuase the present isn't worth a damn.

*sigh*

Typical Rider fan with re-occuring nightmares believing that it is the eve of grey cup '89 with destiny on their doorstep to suddenly wake up and realize its been 16 years of countinual rebuilding with no hope but the past that their team might do something come late november besides huddling up to their 2 channel tv and watching "what could have been...!"

Stamps are gonna party like its 2006!

are you kidding me? The Saskatchewan Roughriders are the Maple Leafs of the CFL

Each year is 'their year', even though the moves made aren't even close to being good enough.

The fact that their team hasn't won anything in an embarassingly long time doesn't phase them in the slightest.

Their teams have been plagued by bad coaching, bad management decisions, etc for a long time.

Unlike Oiler fans, Saskie fans don't even have much of a history to fall back on.

Sorry Snakeye, your comparison is off

Gotta give the green riders credit!

To take it to BC 3 of 4 is pretty impressive!

I like this most cause it practically ensures Edm will not make the playoffs!

But wow, I really suck at picking the winners. At least the stamps didn't disappoint!

what an unbelieveably stupid call by Buono in OT...I can see the whole punting through the endzone, but run it 2 plays then kick if needed...trust your offence there...he basically gave away the game at that point.

It's not like Buono to make calls like that???
I wonder what was going through his head on that one unless he believes McCallum has a better chance of bootin it than going for a field goal. Unless McCallum's jitters are still there from choking so a couple of times for the rider's in the past?

Ya, Riders won. Sooo...bonehead call on Buono's part or what...Why wouldn't you play a couple downs and punt on 3rd if you have to. Anyway, nice game for Fantuz, 2 Td's, one was a fumble recovery, the other in OT to win it. Luca Congi was good with a 53 yard feild goal and a 51 yarder or so. To bad he missed the Feild goal in OT. At least we won the game. He's only missed 3 this year. 28 for 31 I think. Pretty darn good for a rookie.

What a game! That was the best game I've seen in a while.

Fantuz!!! Holy crap!

Get out the Duran Duran and leg warmers, it's 1989 baby!

We'll see you guys in the playoffs... at Taylor Field!

Worry about not choking and letting Edmonton back in first.

Speaking of which, this weekend was the worst case scenario for the Eskimos coming to pass.

So far Calgary has a winning record against Edmonton this season. So does Winnipeg. How about Saskatchewan?
