Damn Talbot has been hot in his last 5 starts. Can't imagine where the flames would be if we had him instead this season *sigh

.939 save % tonight and hovering at .920 on the year.

Its too bad the Oilers suck enough for him to have a losing record.

Looks like an MCL or ACL injury. Tough break but at least it happened after he just signed a contract.

Five rookies iced:

Copp, Armia, Morrissey, Lipon, and Dano.

Jets also sitting out star rookie goalie Hellebuyck.

The tank is on in Winnipeg.

Yep! Not bad for #5 D and Hartley was using him too much according to some including that goof Eric Francis. 24 minutes a night in Dallas..hmmm that's a few minutes more that he was playing for the Flames.

Dubnyk didn't do his voodoo magic as he got pulled half way through the game after the Blues went up 3-0. The Wild made it close in the 3rd period making it 3-2 and then the Blues got the empty netter to win 4-2. Kuemper made 18 saves in relief. The Penguins drilled the Devils 6-1. Malkin with 2 goals and Rust with 3 points. The backup goalies were in net, Kincaid for the Devils and Murray for the Penguins. The Islanders beat the arch rival Rangers 6-4 at MSG. The Bhawks sweep the 2 game mini series against Detroit, this time 4-1. Things are sure tight in the east, just 7 points from 2nd to 8th place.
