Nyquist scores one, after Sheahan (I think) ripped the stick out of the hands of TVR...instead of a penalty, Wings get a goal...2-1

BTW, Datsyuk is out, ill...and Tim Peel is one of the referees, so random refereeing is to be expected.

Russell playing as the lone D on the Stars PP just now (Benn, Seguin, Ritchie, Spezza, and Russell)

Russell gets an assist on Spezza's PPG.

He is also second in ice time today and the last few games behind Demers. Around 24 minutes a night. Good to see he is being relied upon in Dallas.

EDM-WPG coming up. Guess I'm cheering for a 3 pointer ideally? My preference would be a WPG win for sure.

Watched a bit of NYR-NYI, don't really like Raanta, don't think he has starter material. Wouldn't mind Eric Staal as a RW for Johnny and Monahan but not sure he'd want to come here.

Funny to hear the Pens TV duo talking about Schultz - a guy "with loads of untapped potential", "who was touted to be a future Norris Trophy winner" and who "Penguins GM Rutherford managed to pick up from Edmonton for just a third round pick"....

So adorably naïve.

Antoine Roussel scores for Dallas late and Ottawa has 57 seconds now to try and tie it.

Edit: Dallas wins.

Byfuglien just ran McDavid into the boards, but it was pretty tame.

Like seeing him get a rough ride at every chance though!

Yep. And Buff also took out Davidson. Didn't look pretty at all. Possible ankle injury.

Brandon Davidson left the game earlier as Byfuglien took his knee out from the side awkwardly in a collision.

I would guess he blew his ACL out + meniscus damage from personal experience.

Being wheeled out of the building.

Anisimov got a PP goal and Toews finished the scoring at the UC...4-1 Final.

Detroit outplayed the 'Hawks for long stretches...but, scoring has NOT been the Wings' strong suit, all year.

They have kind of flown under the radar but really they are a total disaster given most of their top players are in their prime. IMO they are a much bigger disappointment than the Flames.

Ugh, that's a looooong term injury if its a major tear which is what it looks like from the way it bent.

The Oilers might not see him for a long time.

The Blues have a commanding 3-0 lead over the Wild after forty minutes.
