Nice to see Ortio get the monkey off his back with the win. He didn't have to be spectacular but he made all the saves they need him to make. The best the Flames have played defensively since they played the California teams over a week ago. Tough game for the first line as Gaudreau had a tough day.

Finally.
That was a solid game all around from the Flames. I'm so much more comfortable with Ortio in the net than Hiller. I bet the Flames feel that way too. Great game!

Great win. I'll give Colborne credit, he fit in well with Bennett and Bouma.
Bennett was probably our best forward tonight, dangerous every time.
Backlund had a great game.
Awesome to see Bouma score.
Ortio was really good. Probably caught a lucky break at the end there as Crosby probably deserved that 3rd goal but Ortio also got really unlucky on the first goal so eh, **** evens out.
Good thing we played Hiller last game otherwise we'd be on a winning streak.
