I would vote for trump just because it's politically incorrect and also because I don't think any of what he says would get through the constitution or congress but at least it gets people talking.

At least with Trump Keystone would get approved and if we can't get help from our own country then maybe we can count on the u.s. If the democrats get elected then it's done.

That's true, in an effort to make America as energy independent as possible I could see Trump approving pipelines left and right. Hell, build it all above ground!

This seems like an odd reason to vote for someone, IMO.

		| Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump says he would reject the Keystone XL pipeline if TransCanada Corp. didn’t give the U.S. a “big, big chunk of the profits, or even ownership rights.” All of Trump’s Republican rivals say they would immediately approve the pipeline from the Alberta oil sands, which President Barack Obama rejected in November. Trump, who bills himself as a master negotiator, now says he would require TransCanada to fork over billions.
“I want 25 per cent of the deal for the United States. They’re going to make a fortune,” he declared in Muscatine, Iowa on Sunday. On Saturday, he said he would ask for “25 per cent of the profits forever.”
Trump, campaigning as an economic nationalist, said he wants the pipeline approved. But he said TransCanada should not be allowed to send Canadian oil through American land—“through farmland and through cities and wherever the hell they’re going” — without paying a hefty price.

^ it's something. A bargaining chip maybe. We know it'll get further than with the democrats. Don't get me wrong, I think our own country should get the first choice but they don't want it.

You really want to try and bargain and deal with someone with Trump's reputation? He'll probably ultimately demand we build it, pay for it, give the US 99% of the profits, or he'll put up a wall and tariff all our exports instead. You'd be better off negotiating with a horse's ass.

But that OP is an incoherent mess.

I hope Nenshi takes at run at PC leadership, he would be a shoo in for premier.

And I think he'd make a damn good one.

God no. He wouldn't run as a PC anyway. He is tied with the Alberta Party.
