Jokipakka, Ritchie, and a high draft pick are expected to be the return for the @NHLFlames in the Russell deal. #NHLTradeDeadline

Wow if that's the return I think we all need to erect a treliving statue immediately.

this sounds like a pretty good return for Kris. I don't know much about Brett Pollock though.

Jyrki Jokipakka projecting to be a 5/6?
So we got a younger Russell? Would've preferred a pick. O'well. Pollock any good?

Mike Heika @MikeHeika
I'm hearing it's Kris Russell for defenseman Jyrki Jokipakka, forward prospect Brett Pollock and conditional second round pick.

If true, Jryki Jokipakka immediately becomes the player with the greatest name in Flames history.

Brett Pollock seems like a solid prospect, drafted 45th overall. Hasn 't progressed much offensively though.

Very satisfied with this deal. I like that they added prospects instead of just picks. Wonder what the conditions on the 2nd are.

Pollock is 6'3" and 200 lbs.
Good sized winger for 20.
