That's a pretty good return.... Bleakley was a 1st in a good draft although he hasn't developed that well but Wood is a potential beast, he has come a long ways since being drafted in the 3rd round, 6'5" defenceman who is putting up good points in the OHL.

I believe they also fired their head of amateur scouting after that draft. Bleackley has conditioning issues from what I've heard

Bleackley was a first rounder, but I believe the Avs never signed him to an ELC.

Of course, they also never signed Blandisi who's now ripping it up in New Jersey.
