Is the Calder voted on by the media? We all know a lot of the eastern based ones don't watch enough of the western conference to be truly informed and unbiased.

Yes.
I would give up the farm (forwards that is except Janko) for Mark Stone. He's the closest thing in the NHL to a young Marian Hossa.

I didn't think I had to use green text. I thought my username was good enough.
But no, I don't actually believe Stone is better than Johnny lol

That's a big call. He's a good player but I don't think he will ever be a PPG kinda guy.

They're certainly both NHL-calibre players who will have long careers in this league.

Hossa played in a different era, a lot more power plays and invidiual scoring.
Stone is definitely a talented offensive player, everything you could ask for in a "heavy" forward. And the best part isn't even his offense, it's his defense.

Ya I should have realized. And no I don't really think Stone will be in the K. But my friends a huge senators fan and I keep telling him that lol. But he actually would rather have stone on his team.

Especially since he'd been in the NHL 5 years. Why don't we hand the Calder to Jagr this year?
