Just reading between the lines, but if Lombardi didn't get anywhere on Russell, possible it is because the Flames are asking for a 1st and he doesn't have one this year?

Why play hartnell and risk injury if you are trading him after the game l. It isn't like they are battling for a playoff spot

only 2 assists in 32 gp with the Pens. Maybe a fresh start is all that is needed. If not, kind of an iffy player if he cannot find his stride with the Pens.

Surprised Dallas would move Hintz as well, he looked good in the WJC as well.
